A purpose built outdoor karting facility
Thruxton Kart Centre is one of the very best outdoor kart circuits in the country. Located next to the main circuit, it's fast, challenging (you always feel you could have gone a little quicker) and requires commitment and stamina.
We have three different circuits available, at 1,100 metres long our full circuit has a selection of fast, slow and technical corners. Our 13bhp Thunderkarts can reach speeds of 60mph - this is real racing and is guaranteed to bring out your competitive nature.

Multiple Circuit Layouts
Thruxton Kart Centre is a purpose built facility with three different circuit layouts. The Club Circuit, which also has 3 different configrations, the 900m National Circuit and the 1100m Full Circuit
Three Karts
We offer cadets karts from 8 years old, junior karts from 12 years old and adult karts, capable of 50mph from 16 years old
Hospitality Space
The Kart Centre has a multi-space building suitable for private events, corporate activities and where visitors can relax and socialise between sessions

Karting from 8 years old
Budding racing drivers from 8 years old can go karting on our Club Circuit and experience motor racing for themselves.Circuit Layouts
With three different circuit layouts, Thruxton Kart Centre has something for everyone, whether you’re an experienced karter or just starting out.
Club Circuit
Our newest circuit - the Club circuit, was designed with Arrive & Drive and Junior (8 years old onwards) sessions in mind. The Club circuit features four different configurations (130m, 146m, 210m and 365m) and the ability to run independent of our two other circuits.
900m National circuit
Our most popular circuit is the 900m National Circuit. The circuit, being 7 metres wide, will easily allow 3 and sometimes even 4 karts abreast into most of the corners. This track also includes our unique flyover, a first for a UK outdoor kart circuit!
1100m Full Circuit
Finally the 1100m Full Circuit is an extension of the National circuit by the inclusion of the loop and hairpin in the north east corner.
Great attention has been paid to the driving experience on all our circuits, having kerbs in the right places, suitable drainage and fast and exciting corners.

Karts
Bizkarts EVO 3
The EVO 3 from Biz is combined with the 390cc Honda Thunder engine, a lighter kart with a more sensitive and progressive response to driver input, particularly at speed. In comparison to the more commonly found rental/corporate chassis, the race chassis ultimately gives a much more rewarding karting experience. The engine is big on torque ultimately propelling the kart to speeds in excess of 55mph which is achievable on the kart circuit.

Stratos
These are adult karts but have variable electronic rev limiters fitted for the safety of junior (under 16) drivers. The Stratos is a very versitile kart. Forgiving enough for junior drivers but still fast enough for expeienced karters.

Minimum height: 5ft (1.52m)
Cadet
These are fitted with adjustable seat, full wrap around bodywork, double adjustable pedals and variable electronic rev limiters. The cadet kart from Biz is the result of years of development for the junior karting market. Fantastic to drive but with the safety features you'd expect for children of 8 years old.

What is Club 15?
Due to the change in National Karting Association (NKA) regulations, 15 year olds must complete training to a certain level, and hold a 'Club 15 Membership', to kart on the National or Full Circuit.

For those who don’t have previous experience on our Adult circuits, but have been holding out for their 15th birthday, or are looking for more of a challenge than our Club Circuit, Membership can be obtained upon completion of one of our Club 15 Personal Development Sessions.

Corporate and Private Events
Thruxton Kart Centre is perfect for any type of corporate event, whether it's just a meeting, launching a new product or an out and out karting event. We have all the facilities needed to endure a first class event – meeting rooms, AV equipment, catering services, safety equipment, race chassis karts, and one of the best outdoor kart circuits in the UK. Our exclusive packages include private use of the site, marshals, and the use of ten of our race chassis EVO 3 karts (extra karts can be purchased).
Exclusive Half Day
Thruxton Kart Centre is exclusively yours. The half day package includes exclusive use of the site, marshals, and 10 of our stunning EVO 3 karts. From arrival through to presentation and including your track time the half day package gives the flexibility to run Endurance races or Grand Prix style events.

Exclusive Full Day
